For those interested in organizing and leading Boston Chapter trips and events. This program qualifies participants to co-lead trips for Hiking/Backpacking, Intro, Bike, Ski, Young Members, Forty +, Paddling trips and other Boston committees. Topics include trip planning and trip organization, safety, leadership styles, and group dynamics. Role plays and group situations emphasize experimental learning and decision making skills. Open to all AMC members with preference given to active AMC trip participants.

Two evening sessions (Tuesday April 6th and 13th, 6:45-9:30pm) at the AMC Auditorium, 4 Joy St., Boston, MA; and one weekend in Harvard, MA, April 23-25th. The cost of $50 covers course manual, all materials, lodging and food (except lunches). Limited to 24.
